2011 was the year of
the Standup comic, for us at least.
On Monday 14th December, or Manic Monday as it’ s known to DVD distributors, 17 Stand Up Comedy DVDs were released, and this year in total there have been 40 brand new releases in total!
We’re really pleased to say we had a new client in creating and delivering over 100 ads for Stand Up DVDs over the past few weeks
Lion Eyes were asked to aid in the scripting, creation of, filming , music composition and in some cases voicing the ads which range from campaigns of 10 to 30 seconds for TV and 2 minute trailers for Video on Demand and Youtube exposure.
As well as looking after the Production and Post Production Lion Eyes delivered the ads to channels and liaised with Mediacom to ensure everything aired on time!

Lion Eyes were also asked to create radio ads for Peter Kay and Jethro’ s November DVD releases. Targetting these comedians’ fans aurally we enlisted the help of our sister company Lion Ears to create 30 second long perfectly formed sound bites as well as 20 second versions for both comedians to be broadcast locally and nationally!
