What a brilliant way to kick off 2012, with our first terrestrial broadcast of the year, which we anticipate to come, fingers crossed!
Lion Eyes were recently asked to provide Production Services for Park Networks in the creation of a 30 minute piece commissioned by BBC Learning to inspire young people to get involved in creative writing be it prose or poetry.
Working with the editorial genius of Mr Mark Gorton Lion Eyes’ team researched the piece, before going into Production for two filming days in Oxford.
This included locations and talent clearance.
Contributors include Michael Morpurgo (author of WarHorse, recently adapted for the blockbuster Spielberg film) and Philip Pullman (author of the His Dark Materials and The Golden Compass). We were involved right from the start, working out a production and post production workflow to comply with BBC HD delivery specifications.
Finally Lion Eyes provided Offline and Online edit as well as Motion Graphics and a full Audio dub to ensure the whole piece looked and sounded as good
The half hour show is made up of interviews and workshops as well as talks given by award winning authors sharing their secrets!
