Lion Eyes deliver Weapons trailers for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

allowfullscreen=”true”>

Lion Eyes were recently asked to create four trailers for the upcoming release of the latest addition to the highly successful Resident Evil computer games franchise ‘Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’ in March this year.

As well as capturing the games footage, which is always a fun day of Zombie-watching and manipulating, Lion Eyes completed three trailers for the weapons packs, which will feature as add-ons to the game, consisting of Renegade, Elite and Power Weapons packs.

For us this meant we were involved with the animation of the weapons, creation of graphics and text as well as final sound design, working to Head First’s creative brief.
The Elite Weapons trailer is above and you can watch the Power and Renegade trailers here:

How to make a Narnia trailer without a Lion, a Witch or Wardrobe?

One thing we often get asked for, apart from the impossible, is a teaser trailer, to generate interest and a buzz around an upcoming event or show.

Back in June last year we started working on a trailer for the exciting new theatre adaptation of the CS Lewis classic ‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe’ for EMG and Threesixty.

There was only one snag, which was that there is nothing to film as the show is still in Pre-production.

So we opened the box we have in the back room labelled “epic, magical and fantastical” and lovingly spread the contents into what we think is quite an impressive trailer.

So did our clients like the way we created something out nothing

?

The lovely Charlotte at EMG said  ‘A huge thank you for the work you did on the LWW trailer, we’re really pleased with it and have loads of compliments on how ‘epic and magical’ if feels!’

Now viewable by the general public and with tickets on sale why not watch the trailer on the show’s website www.lionwitchtheshow.com?  Or here…

Lion Eyes Television partner Park Networks for BBC Learning commission: How to Write, 05:00, BBC2, Thursday 12th January

These are the jobs we like to scream about more than normal on our website so…deep breath…HEYYYYYYYYY WATCH WHAT WE MADE!!!!!!

Set the record button for our first broadcast of the year!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00n2ys6

What a brilliant way to kick off 2012, with our first terrestrial broadcast of the year, which we anticipate to come, fingers crossed!

Lion Eyes were recently asked to provide Production Services for Park Networks in the creation of a 30 minute piece commissioned by BBC Learning to inspire young people to get involved in creative writing be it prose or poetry.

Working with the editorial genius of Mr Mark Gorton Lion Eyes’ team researched the piece, before going into Production for two filming days in Oxford.

This included locations and talent clearance.

Contributors include Michael Morpurgo (author of WarHorse, recently adapted for the blockbuster Spielberg film) and Philip Pullman (author of the His Dark Materials and The Golden Compass). We were involved right from the start, working out a production and post production workflow to comply with BBC HD delivery specifications.
Finally Lion Eyes provided Offline and Online edit as well as Motion Graphics and a full Audio dub to ensure the whole piece looked and sounded as good

The half hour show is made up of interviews and workshops as well as talks given by award winning authors sharing their secrets!

Definitely worth a watch, this was one of those jobs which allowed a different part of our brains to work and cumulated in the creation of something informative as well as entertaining.

But you might want to set your TV box to record as it’s on fairly early, do let us know what you think…

Lion Eyes deliver over 100 TV commercials for Christmas rush

2011 was the year of

the Standup comic, for us at least.

On Monday 14th December, or Manic Monday as it’ s known to DVD distributors, 17 Stand Up Comedy DVDs were released, and this year in total there have been 40 brand new releases in total!

We’re really pleased to say we had a new client in creating and delivering over 100 ads for Stand Up DVDs over the past few weeks

Lion Eyes were asked to aid in the scripting, creation of, filming , music composition and in some cases voicing the ads which range from campaigns of 10 to 30 seconds for TV and 2 minute trailers for Video on Demand and Youtube exposure.

As well as looking after the Production and Post Production Lion Eyes delivered the ads to channels and liaised with Mediacom to ensure everything aired on time!

Look out for the ads for Paddy McGuinness, Peter Kay and Jethro everywhere!

Or just watch them here….

Lion Eyes were also asked to create radio ads for Peter Kay and Jethro’ s November DVD releases. Targetting these comedians’ fans aurally we enlisted the help of our sister company Lion Ears to create 30 second long perfectly formed sound bites as well as 20 second versions for both comedians to be broadcast locally and nationally!

Listen to both here…
